Book Campaign

In collaboration with local organizations in Lebanon and numerous hard working volunteers, Edaya is building an exciting library concept to be implemented in the summer of 2016 at a Syrian refugee school in the Bekaa Valley. The library program aims to instil the habit of reading and promote the value of books as a source of knowledge and entertainment. We recognize the impact that reading has on one’s personal and educational development, which is why we are building a library, to empower disadvantaged children.

If you are eager to help, here is what you can do.

We are looking to receive any children’s books that you consider as beneficial and can ignite a love of reading for kids aged 6-14 years old (Arabic and/or basic English only). Whether they are fiction, educational or non-fiction, our library shelves have room for everything.
