Edaya is entirely volunteer run and we cover our own individual expenses, your donations will go directly to the implementation of the library program now in its second year.
Running costs include the librarians salary, who is also a member of the community we serve. In addition to materials, stationary and expanding the activities to support the learning and well-being of the children. Providing them with a much needed safe space and access to opportunities to help them strive for a brighter future.
Our initial crowdfunding took place last year, which we were able to do with support from AUB Engineering and Architecture Club who supported us by providing the structure. Since then Edaya equipped the library with books and implemented activities for the children as well as training for facilitators.
